VDSL port waiter is typically 14 days or so in the Chorus world to see a linecard fitted / swapped out.

I still don't understand why the OP did an Orcon disconnect and then a new Spark connection rather than a transition. This is certainly not the normal way to move providers. You never contact the LSP first and this thread can simply join the hundreds of other such threads on here with issues such as this caused by doing this.

OP said Spark told them to disconnect first.

Either Spark screwed up (like really badly) or OP isn't being exact with the their account if the events.

Multiple reasons this could have happened.
Obviously i can't give details on a public forum however the above touches on most of the vivable options.

I personally did my best to look at options or indications for the op.

In DMs the op was very genuine and polite. I know many in the same case are not like this even when they cause it themselves! So my humble hat goes off to him for that.

(Just to be clear, The above isn't indication this is the op's doing, simply an example that does occur sometimes unfortunately)

Linux: Lucky you are not on a Conklin cabinet I have heard of port waiters exceeding 700+ days

Linux

Waiting is probably better than service from those tho.
