A friend of mine has lived with an unreliable and slow ADSL connection for many years, finally he is looking at his RBI options. He is located near Waikanae.

I know nothing about the subject so I thought I'd ask here for recommendations.

He would potentially use a decent amount of data (if his connection was better). Any other traps like CG-NAT with certain ISPs etc?

I seem to recall some discussion about two antennas vs one or something?

I'm not seeing many conklins around there, wanna DM me a bit more clear of a location and i'll check out the area and surrounding connections for ya.

i'd gladly pitch a spark service, but i suspect if data to cost and CG-Nat is wanting to be avoided you will be looking at a RBI reseller.

Ultimate Broadband do RBI with public IP address.

Chorus has spent $1.4 billion on making their xDSL broadband network faster and even more now as they are upgrading their rural Conklins. If your still stuck on ADSL or VDSL, why not spend $195 on a master filter install to make sure you are getting the most out of your connection?
I install - Naked DSL, DSL Master Splitters, VoIP, data cabling and general computer support for home and small business.
