Hi, is there a map showing unbundled exchanges currently? in particular the Vodafone Red network  (is it still even called that) but also Orcon would be good.

Im wanting to know for houses within Army Bay area / Whangaparaoa in this instance

Unlikely you will find that, I believe Vodafone are slowly removing UCLL in areas too.

Long term it will prob go as a product it doesn't make sense once UFB uptake gets to a certain point.

I assume you can't get UFB yet? Will be less than 2 years until you can.

There is also CallPlus/Slingshot, TelstraClear and Compass who have large coverage footprints including outside of Auckland.

I understand TelstraClear and CallPlus/Slingshot were two who had the largest number of exchanges deployed around the country (by ~2011)

lol. that took awhile...

as per @atomeara there is no visibility over this, the OP would need to ask VF/Orcon Directly.

Asking VF was the first thing i did, when i saw how crap the dsl sync speeds were (new house), compared to the house right next door (also his house).  the street has a cabinet

i dont think the VF staff member was understanding my question about the Unbundled exchange so was trying to verify myself.

Hopefully its just a standard line issue and the Chorus guy didn't do a decent job with the initial connection, logged a fault anyway

If you DM me your address I can check if it is UCLL or UBA service. I can't tell which provider it is or if it is ADSL or VDSL but it normally shows UCLL or UBA
