So I'm on a plan with Actrix ( Now Voyager) - have emailed them as well. I used to be provisioned through 2 degrees but not sure if they still have that ' agreement ' in place given some historical issues.  The plan is 200 down and 100 up. While I appreciate for various reasons the 200 is theoretical and not a guarantee I generally always got about 190 down and 100 up whenver I ran a speedtest.  Haven't ran the tests for ages but over the last week the max, when I do run it, I can see the down speed varies from 40 to 60 while I still get 100+ up.   

 

Wired test. Main desktop off the router - Asus RT-AC88U which has been running flawlessly for last 18 to 20 months.  I gave up on the weetabix box router they sent as it kept crapping out with too many connections, as did the 2nd so bought something a bit more substantial. Nothing else on the network when running the tests.

 

I'm not aware of changing anything in my settings. Have tried the speedtest from various servers around NZ but still the same results.

 

What can I be checking my end please to make sure it's not my setup etc.

Definitely OFF. Switched it across to on to be sure and a myriad of functions appeared to play with - switched it back to OFF. Cheers

Actrix / Voyager delivered their Fibre through 2 degrees. 2 degrees were my goto callcentre when I had issues i.e I would email actrix and they would point me at 2 degrees etc.  I'm not sure if that is still the case however. I see it's now moved. Thanks for sorting that out

Heya Gedc, 

 

Prior to Voyager acquisition, Actrix did indeed wholesale UFB circuits from Snap/2Degrees however, post acquisition these were migrated away.
