HI I've recently joined woosh and my signal stength is only 35% but my delta is 20. Does the low signal strength affect my connection?

Also to get this signal my booster antenna is placed outside. Because of the lenth of the wire the modem is placed on a stack of boxes so it can reach out the window. to remedy this i asked for a 5m extension but with the extension. There is barely a signal when placed in the same spot as it was without the extension. the extension basicly killed the signal.
Is the loss of signal normal?

To be honest nothing but trouble using a Woosh setup. Is there no other internet solution you can use?

Seconded.  Save yourself all the hassles and find something else.

If you are getting a delta of 20 and 35% thats fine. I wouldn't mess with it.

I have rarely seen any signal strength percentages over 40% without being at close range to a cellsite.

It sounds like your 5m extension is faulty too. Ask for a new one that is already bagged up and not a second hand recycled one. There is no way a 5m lead would introduce that much loss.

Woosh's network is horrific, and their customer service is so bad that I ended up staging a sit in at their offices in Newmarket to cancel my account.

Your signal will be crap from most places you are, it will disconnect at random multiple times a hour, the bandwidth when you are connected will be minimal and if you have a laptop you will still have to carry around 5 metres of cable and a big aerial to stick to a window.

Save yourself some grey hairs and get rid of Woosh ASAP. :-)

Please do post your results once you get your Woosh setup working correctly. I would be really interested what speeds/latancy you are getting.
