ShobbysLead: Speedtest on my phone had 7mb up 0.8 down. Vdsl. Assume thats about standard for wifi.
Have hooked up another jack to ports 1 and 4 (connected to 2 and 5 on slave) and didnt get any connection from slave jack
You're on ADSL according to the router.
ShobbysLead: Update.
Solid connection with yellow-> 2 and black -> 5.
Have swapped out a couple of jacks. Think i buggered the original master jacks connectors. Currently connected to first slave.
More likely the plug is a two wire BT to RJ11. In that case only terminating at 2&5 on the jackpoint will work. I've made this mistake now all my BT plugs are two pair. Saves headaches.
At the router end is the RJ11. If you unplug it are there one or two pairs?

You are still on ADSL2+. Line is unsuitable for VDSL2 anyway.
Spark Max Fibre using Mikrotik CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+, CRS125-24G-1S, Unifi UAP, U6-Pro, UAP-AC-M-Pro, Apple TV 4K (2022), Apple TV 4K (2017), iPad Air 1st gen, iPad Air 4th gen, iPhone 13, SkyNZ3151 (the white box). If it doesn't move then it's data cabled.

Hi, that screen shot should be adequate, but there is a further detailed page with all the line stats showing attenuation etc, that would be useful.
Dont belive ADSL and VDSL is charged any different, but some ISPs may differentiate

Can I take the cable that I have coming from the roadside and replace the BT sockets with RJ45 sockets? I dont ever plan on having a phone connected.

You can take the street cable directly to pins 4&5 (marked blue and blue/white on the socket) on an RJ45 Socket if you are never intending to connect a POTS phone line a filter is not required
