I live roughly around 450-500metres away from my exchange, Massey exchange, and i only get a 10mbps connection with telecom Go plan, this plan should have ADSL2+, which telecom says is 24mbps.

Im just wondering why im not getting my full speed?

That's about right, 24mbps is the theoretical max

meaning if you are straight next door and have no errors in wiring/no filters/no phones, one straight copper pair, then you'd almost get that much.

But due to:
line errors, your distance from the exchange, CRC errors, probably line filters on your phone line + at least one phone? then 10-12mbps seems reasonable to me :)

I'm 500m from my exchange and i get about 12968, 900 up

I have moved across the ditch.  Now residing in Melbourne as a VOIP/Video Technical Trainer/Engineer.

I fix stuff!

Line Attenuation (Up/Down) [dB]:
0,5 / 2,5

With those kind of figures you should be getting 20mbit+.

I would do a line isolation test (unplug everything) and see if that makes a difference.

I do see you are getting FEC and HEC errors, nothing huge but something to keep an eye on.

Also if you are only 500m away from the exchange I would be getting excited about VDSL!

We been doing some trials on our dslam kit and have a customer who has 30mbit/30mbit and he is around 500m out of the exchange.
