So I am moving to Thorndon in Wellington at the end of the month, and it seems Telstra did not wire that area up for cable :(

Does anyone have any good alternatives? I assume ADSL is my only other option?

Citylink would break the bank i expect. ADSL2 should be a goer though.

Yeh its weird, its an old house so would of been around when they were putting the cable out, I'm unsure as to why it doesn't.  Oddity number 2 is that despite smack bang in the middle of Orcons + network map I am unable to get a plan on it, as supposedly the address is not within the coverage range of the network! :S WTF!
