I've been down this road July 2009, Aug 2010, Nov 2010, Apr 2011. reporting to my ISP when the VOIP became unusable. On 3 of the 4 occasions Telecom upgraded the Backhaul.
What is the best tool and measurements to establish early that there is a problem?
The VOIP test at http://www.voipreview.org/voipspeedtester.aspx give a lot of info. Even though the test server is not in NZ I am getting good VOIP results since the backhaul upgrade.
ComCom regulate the provision of 45k per ADSL connection, are there regulations on Ping times and packet loss of any type?
