Have anyone else received an email regarding a "urgent firmware upgrade" about two days ago?
After following the instructions on the firmware upgrade page, the upgrade process completed without any problems.
But after I restarted my PC, my Woosh modem cannot be turned on anymore!

So I rang Woosh this morning, thinking they would send me a new modem, but NO! They said I'd need to bring my modem to a service centre in Newmarket. (I assume I would bear the cost of repairing)

They said since I signed up before September last year, I am the owner of the modem, and Woosh has nothing to do with it. All sign ups after September last year would get free lifetime warranty.

WTF? So they don't support long term customers anymore? I still think their "urgent firmware upgrade" stuffed my modem and they should send me a new one!

  No update/upgrade notice received by me (Wellington) for some months now.
