Some kind of VPN service?

fyx is a service that is designed to bring the world to New Zealand. Its about breaking down the barriers between us and what we want to get at ... and using "Global Mode" to do it - barriers between us and what we want to get at? Online streaming services that are geo-blocked?

Plus they've liked VUDU, NetFlix and ESPN on Facebook...

GoodSync. Easily back up and sync your files with GoodSync. Simple and secure file backup and synchronisation software will ensure that your files are never lost (affiliate link).

Well Jaxson, it'll be GREAT to have you aboard ... but no, not a VPN service ...

FYX: but no, not a VPN service ...

Are you just being pedantic based on terminology? Must be close.

I'm so confused. If this enables me to watch TV from overseas easily then I'm in.

If it did let you watch TV from overseas, what would you watch?

The wife and I quite like an Australian programme called The Block, so we would like to watch the new season of that. Which is freely available on the channel 9 website, except you have to be in Australia.

Quite like the HBO programmes as well but we don't have sky so it will be ten years before we can legally watch them.

edit: you can watch some of the Australian content via their website but a few are region locked.

Brilliant! So you're strongly insinuating that in a week or 2, you'll be involved with a completely legal way for broadband users in NZ to stream the 2012 Formula 1 races, live.

I can't wait!

Cheers - N
