old3eyes: Was just wondering why Labor Day this year was a week erlier than previous years. Anyone know??


it not - the time for labour day is 4th Monday in October - this year 1st was monday and is why it feel earlier then last year

As above - people generally "expect"  it to be the last Monday in October.  Mostly it is, because the 4th Monday is almost always the 4th Monday - but as bagheera noted, the 4th Monday this year was not the last Monday!!!
