once you have the connection setup you can save yourself a shortcut, open the shortcut and click options, from there you should be able to save the password and username so that all you need to do is click the shortcut and it will load straight up for you.
Thanks for that but still no luck. I did have a shortcut btw, but it does not have an enter password feature. It is different from the youtube clip. On mine it's missing !!
As Nathan said it depends on the version of remote desktop.
If it's this version, just click on the remote desktop icon, then click Options>>, and tick 'Allow me to save credentials' in the General tab.
No need to click Save or Save As, just click Connect. When you click on the Remote Desktop icon the next time you won't have to enter username or password.
If you click Save As, you can create an icon on the desktop just for this connection.
In the local resources tab you can share drives from the main computer during the remote desktop session, and the experience tab selects what graphics level to display.
