I want to clone my hdd to my 240gb ssd
I am using 'todo backup' and have installed the ssd to the computer.
The ssd is not showing in the cloning program or in my computer because it is not initialized.
Do I need to initialize the ssd? Should I use MBR or GPT partition style?

SSD will become the boot drive. Motherboard is H67ma-d2h-b3 which says it has 'hybrid efi technology'. OS is windows 7 64 bit.

Use Macrium Reflect free. Install it then create the USB boot disk. Boot from the disk and have it do the cloning. If you have to choose MBR/GPT use GPT unless it doesn't work.

Does Windows see the SSD, i.e. is it visible in Device Manager? If not then you might need to set it up correctly in the BIOS/EFI.

If it is visible in Device Manager then ToDo Backup should be able to partition it because that is one of its features.

GPT is the new standard for Windows disks and it is much better. MBR is the old DOS/Windows standard and should only be considered if you need compatibility for some other purpose.

Make sure that you checked Optimize for SSD when you clone the HDD.
