Just me or every flippin website I click on recently suddenly dims the background and ask me to sign up to their newsletter what in their right mind makes then think I am going to sign up to the newsletter before I even have a chance to read or look at the website?

Yeah, that and the crap that pops up because you are moving the mouse towards the scrollbar is another annoying thing.

This is something only blog about "doing business on the Internet" used to have, now anything under the sun is doing it. You start reading something and your eyes are only halfway through the second paragraph and *bam* comes an overlay.

I just don't go back to those sites.
