Has anyone tried it? Is this powerful enough to replace an office pc with no gaming? :)

Cheers :)

It depends on your expectations.

The Atom processor is found in very cheap laptops and has low horsepower and low battery usage as a result.  Slow laptops with long battery life have their place, but you wouldn't normally use one full time.

It does not have a HDD or an SSD, but instead has eMMC storage onboard (basically an SD card soldered onto the motherboard).  Performance of eMMC varies WILDLY from the 'OMG kill me now' to 'hey it's not too shabby'.

Reading a few reviews, it looks like people are pretty happy with the 'bang for your buck'.  Might be worth a try and report back to us!

Reviews are good for a light office PC. The strength is mobile Intel computing.

Edit: the item linked is the no o/s product.

It looks like I'll have to give it a miss :/ Newegg would not accept NZ credit cards...

Agent Joanna W.:

our system indicates that your payment has been declined by your card-issuing bank because the card you used is an International card. If you would like to purchase on newegg.com, you have to own a credit card with billing and shipping address in US.

Therefore, if you would like the order to go through, we advise you to change the card to a valid credit card issued by US bank.

Ok I thought new egg were shipping to New Zealand or was that someone else? There was a press release on Geekzone.

Anyway vastly superior to the celeron N3150s etc of the competitors in similar form factor.

Thanks, GTZ. What other product you'd recommend?

Yes newegg ship to NZ, new but Kangaroo is not available for NZ for some reason.

Thank you for holding. I show that the item cannot be sent to New Zealand, so you are unable to purchase it as of this moment.

Not all items can be sold and shipped to New Zealand. If an item is not available for a country, the item description page will show Unavailable

Yes, tried youshop address. But if the shipping is to US address, they want US credit card. No workaround, it seems :/
