Imo sensor will be that hot. Northbirdge location I think. You have an urgent need for an espresso attachment.

My old core 2 junkers beep and turn off when the ICH gets to 104 so that is doing very well. They also seem to be unstable above 90 - would crash doing a mirror resync on the esata card unless I stuck a desk fan into the case.

@xpd what do you use for temp monitoring?

 

I'm still using RealTemp from way back for the temp display in the sys tray.

Yeah that was from Speccy. Motherboard sensor has always shown abnormally high temps from new, never bothered me or caused issues :)

 

But hey, if its a true reading, Im impressed its still going hehe ;)
