Long story short someone made me gag and i spat tea all over my work setup, screens and all, got half a cup through the keyboard and now the space and shift key does not work, i pulled it to bits and I cannot see any residue in the membrane, but is there an easy way to possibly repair it?

Cheers

Douse it in meths. It should lift residue and displace water.

May give you some joy.

Go to your Sys Admin tell him/her that Dolly did it and ask for a new one.  If you have milk and or sugar in your tea it's days are numbered.  Also assure the Sysy Admin that Dolly has been sent home.
