What surge protectors/power boards is everyone using for their work from home setup? I thought I'd have enough with just the 4 sockets in my office but nope I need more and I might as well get a surge protector while I'm at it.

Bonus points, any way to add on cable management cubbies onto a desk? I've got a glass top desk with a wooden draw on the side so certainly could do some drilling.

These multi-way boards are a real PITA, but i've been looking at ideas on pinterest - Cable Management ideas - do you live in an area where the power is subject to wild swings in supply? eg in central Wellington power is fairly consistent in supply, but up the coast it's up and down.

Edit.

Your pintrest link gave me some inspiration.

I've been looking for something like that in NZ. Expensive for what they are.

Having also had some BDFL-ish illness over the last few months, I needed a change for 2023. It's nice to be able to look out the window and see green instead of the side of my neighbour's ugly house!

Nice setup! Couple of questions
1. Where did you get those drawers from? After something similar narrow and deep.
2. What speaker system do you have ? They look nice!

Logitech G560 speakers. IKEA Helmer drawers.  Where are you located?  I want to rehome these ones and change them to the black version.

Noting that the SecretLab Magnus desk is available in NZ now.  Didn't think it would reach here tbh.  I have been coveting this online since it was first announced.

Think I'll stay with my glass table as a desk.
