Hi,
Flight simulators, especially Flight Simulator X the latest one tend to be rather demanding on graphics. An 8400GS simply doesn't cut it in my opinion, something like a 9600GT would be better to run it smoothly.

Whats the price on that?

Sadly i know a lot of those figures off by heart, but i was asking to see if they were overpricing too much.

Oh I was relying to the OP "What does one this something like this will be worth??"

Anyway I agree onboard gfx = bad get a 9600GT minimum and/or check the recommended requirements for the latest flight sim and get one of those.

If you want a good gaming experience playing some of the latest games, It would pay to build or have built, a computer with the "Recommended Requirements" for the games you want to play. What are you prepared to spend on a gaming/multi-purpose computer. I'm sure a few guys here could build one in their mind to suit your needs if they had a price to work with. Don't settle for something that just meets the "Minimum Requirements". You will ultimately be disappointed.

Cheers ;-)

Agree with what others have posted, the 8400GS is gonna end up blowing chunks sooner than later,

If you dialled down the Res on FSX you could get by, but playing any games with reasonably beefy 3-D requirements is gonna hurt

I'm still looking for a computer, what are you thoughts on these specs?

That one should be okay i'd think. RAM is generic but thats fine.
You'll need to add on an operating system (vista?) unless you've already got a spare licence.
