Using 1password, would highly recommend. Troy Hunt also recommends them if that holds any weight, and as expected has HIBP integration. It's a closed source product, which turns some people off, but this is one of the few cases I would rather pay for the convenience and certainly than worry about the potential implications and roll-my-own. A PM is one product I just want to work.

Seamless experience across apps and both the Android and Windows platforms have good browser autofill support. I was previously with Dashlane but left when they announced they were sunsetting their desktop thick client app in favor of a web app.

The family plan works great if you need a way to manage multiple people with sharing passwords (utilities, bills, shared online services etc). I have the household stuff shared between myself and my SO, so that they can access everything if I have a tragic smelting accident or the like.

Looking at my purchase date of 1Password, I've been using it for over ten years and have gotten my parents to use it as well, so they don't scribble down passwords on notepads dotted around the place.  That and the integration is pretty good for their use, as well as mine.  They tend to share things as well, so good for tracking things that way and keeping things up to date.

@ShinyChrome Bitwarden also does that - for example, my parents insecure Trademe password (I've tried):

Keepass here but mainly because it is used at work too so I try and keep things simple.

ahh so now I know why LastPass has stopped working on my non-pc devices.

Is it easy to transfer LastPass to Bitwarden, or do you have to re-enter everything?

So, I'm the odd one out -- Roboform, synchs across all my PCs and laptops and Androids, good password generator, all browsers, logs in via win Hello devices. just works which is more than I do.

I have an old Windows laptop at work, and a while ago the IT department installed KeePass. Unfortunately it doesn't automatically populate the username/password when I'm logging into systems and web sites so each time I have to manually open it, log into it, find the required password, copy & paste, then log back out again. Essentially it's really just a secure notebook.

Is this normal? Or was the IT guy just lazy in the way that he set it up?
