ExtremePC placeholder prices aren't looking to promising.

At those prices, its not worth buying. You can get a 7900xt for $1400 and a 7900xtx for 2k.

All the modestly priced ones sold out within minutes. So much for lots of stock. People avoiding the new power connector ones as well lol.

It sounded like NZ was not part of the 'slow trickle since December' so I'm not surprised. Anyway got mine, so time to sleep. 😴

@dustysmurf, which branch did you go to? Westgate?

it's not even on their website! 9070/XT does not exist!

Heaps of models listed now.

Did you get it delivered or picked up? 9070 non-XT reviews are coming out and its actually looking good efficiency wise.

Seems there is little stock, or it’s just that popular since people have been waiting out for something like this. Or we have a scalper problem here in NZ.

Also another reason people might want to jump on 9000 over 7000, just the added benefit of the extra hardware for AI/upscaling etc.is worth it. Users of Turing can attest, that gen was not received well for the cost at the time but they are still benefiting from DLSS4 transformer model 6 years later

Yep. All gone. They even removed the banner from the front page. If you weren't around from 3.00-3.30am it's like it never existed lmao.

The 9070 non-XTs are still there, the banner got squashed to the bottom of the rolling carousel for some reason. Waiting to hear if dustysmurf got theirs this morning.
