Oh, and when I tabbed out it said SC2 was, on its own, using that much :)

The 5770 is a great card i think. I was thinking about getting two 5770 then i realized they only a bit faster than a single 6850 so i thought oh ill just get a cheaper motherboard and put one of them in, then i convinced myself to get two 6850 lol. Ive never owned a Ati card before i guess you could cool me a Nvidia fanboy but really each time they just worked out cheaper for the performance for me. Atm I have a GTS 250 what is slower than the 5770 and i wanted the 5770 but cost about 40% more at the time for about 15% more power. The 5770 ment to crossfire very well though and i think they also overclock very well too.

Same for me getting my 5770.  Was just a better deal than the equivalent nvidia...

Frizzy: Why not go for one of the new Intel Sandy Bridge platforms? The specs & benchmarks look awesome!

Looking on Techspot they are awesome and the unclocked multiplier is much more than standard only $11 USD more. They overclock so well and use such little power i think i might have to go this way. I thought that Intel would be putting a big price on the unlocked cpus but only time will tell. Even if it does cost a little bit more than i want to spend on the cpu i think it will be worth it.

For price for performance Im going with a AMD 1055t, the extra added cost for the sandy bridge i don't find worth it. The new GTX 560 will hopefully be in nz soon so i might just go with a single one for them instead of two HD6850 because then i don't need such large psu and high end motherboard. But I just realized i need an Nvidia card sence I going to use cuda some times and also the GTX 560 has very good tessellation to ATI cards. Will have the money this week for the pc so hopping the GTX 560 will be here soon to see how costly they are lol. Oh and decided going with 16gb of ram and maybe some extra hdd from the money saved with going with single gpu. Still might go GTX 570 if the 560 is to dear for what it is here. Hopefully will be posting pictures soon :D
