My sound card died - could not get sound anywhere.
Bought a new one - same model as existing card (Genius Audio 5.1 PCI).
Now I have sound again on all facilities (stored trip etc videos, CD's, online games, live radio (ZB and RTE Radio 1 etc), TVNZ Ondemand) on PC except some kids games. Games are Australian - educational using numbers and letters, testing keyboard skills, concentration and some shoot em up stuff.
Games are by EurekaMedia/Nodtronics. They came from Warehouse Stationery - cheap as chips.
Games are loaded onto hard drive and started via desktop icon. Have tried uninstall and install again but there is no change. Have taken some games to my second PC and they run there fine!!!?? So, the software seems OK.
Has anyone ideas as to what I need to do to get sound back on the games?
PS - must add, just to clarify - the games still run but silently now!!

Be glad of any help.

Yaay - got answer all by myself.
Did not select new driver for use after installing it. And, I had not uninstalled the old driver for the "dead" sound card.
Now I have full sound again!!!!!!
No help now needed
