HI there, I need some major help here.  When inserting a CD ROM into our CD ROM/DVD Drive.  When it displays the contents of the disc the icons are all displayed with the internet explorer (e) logo.  They are not being displayed as what they should be ie, folders, zip folders, photos etc.  Any ideas please....

Try clearing your Internet Explorer cache as that will also clear it for Windows Explorer..

Is the content right, but just showing the wrong icons? That should fix it

The contents is correct, but the actual items in Tile view are a white page with the internet explorer logo on the top.  How do i add a screen shot on here so i can show you what i mean???

If you have somewhere to host the images you can link to it on here.

If you dont you can sign up to Google Pages for free http://pages.google.com and then upload the image to there and then insert your screenshot into a post.

Use the image button in the text editor to insert it.

Hi Brad. Well cleaning out internet cache actually worked.  Didn't realise we had to restart the pc so it would take effect.  Thanks so much for your help.

No worries. Clearing the cache deletes the thumbnails windows uses for files and folders.
