I am experiencing an error in chrome, whenever i load a site with any flash, or actually any plugin (unity, shockwave) being loaded the whole browser freezes up and i get the flash is unresponsive error.

I can close flash and the browser runs fine.

It seems many people are having this problem and i have followed the steps over here:

I have also:

-reinstalled chrome 
-reinstalled flash
-updated chromes version of flash
-disabled the inbuilt version of flash (the error seems to occur less like this but still happens frequently)
-disabled the standalone version of flash 
-disabled all other plugins
-error still occurs in incognito mode 

Not really sure what other steps i can take?

Has anyone else had this problem or has any suggestions?

Not experiencing this problem.

My guess - some kind of ole setup problem dependent on component version installation order

My pick for a fix
1. uninstall all flash plugins
2. uninstall all browsers (data like bookmarks will remain i think)
3. reboot
4. run a decent registry clean up utility (or search and delete manually - hit and miss)
5. install chrome (test)
6. restart (test)
7. install other browsers (test)

There is also a good chance that just #1 and a chrome uninstall + restart - then a registry clean will do the trick, but I'd go the whole way. Don't forget the reboots.

I would try updating your video card drivers, flash makes use of hardware acceleration these days... could easily be a bug in the graphics card driver version you have installed.
