weblordpepe: That looks like a really awesome device. How much did you fork out for your Axim there? Because having VGA output and bluetooth keyboard would basically let you use it as a desktop if you wanted. I have an X3i and it's brilliant for $200 but I'm stuck with stylus and no bluetooth. Wifi tho :)

Got the Axim X51v for $650.00 off TradeMe, still waiting for it paid for it on Tuesday so waiting for payment to go through and for the Jafa to send down to the Waikato (lol) can't wait, want to use it as main Diary, PDA and use the Apache as Phone, txt etc

It's going to make my job easier, as a Marriage Celebrant I will be able to whip out my Axim and the Bluetooth keyboard and write up the vows right there with the clients... easier than the Apache... just need a small bluetooth printer and I will be set, and maybe a project to have presentations? (just dreaming)

Cheers

If I recall correctly, HP and Canon both have portable printer that have BT option, and IrDA even. Use that and rechargable battery then you're mobile!

NZHarrier: SWEET AS Cool

Hehe... the price tag for them though... is a different story. Not over pricey but i guess you pay for the portability. Definitely great mobile option!

Yeah with the increasing numbers of apps & games for Pocket PC Im starting to think its a really cool platform. After all, its a platform spawned for devices with little resources.

And little/scarce resources is the mother of good coding :) Palm gurus will probably bite me there actually but you get my point.

Happy New Year to all! :)

I have an Ipaq 4350

Accessories: foldup keyboard, plug in camera, bluetooth modem

Software (Utilities):

HandyMenu
HandySwitcher
Battery Watch
MemMaid

Software (Games):

Sudoku Master
Bridge Player (contract bridge game)
Bridge Viewer (contract bridge viewer for international tournaments etc)

Software (Other):

Adobe Reader
Netfront Browser
Pocket RSS
Pocket TV
Digital Camera User Guide
Simple SMS (bluetooth communication with mobile phone which allows you to manage, send and receive text messages from the PDA instead of the phone

Other Digital Devices:

C-pen 800
C-pen 600C
Psion Revo
Psion 5MX

These can all communicate with the Ipaq via infrared.

The Ipaq I use as an entertainment centre, including my favorite music and family photos, but the Psion 5MX is for serious stuff - as a mini computer it beats all others hands down, in spite of its age.
