Pandora radio app is now available for WP8. It's free to use with no ad's until end of 2013.

Tried out an 8S  today. Wow! The nicest phone I've ever seen/held! Makes my Mozart seem ancient now. My Dad even mentioned it was the nicest looking phone in the store. There were also display models of the 8X, 920, and 820. The 8X felt fantastic too, but I preferred the two-tone look of the 8S. The 920 was pretty disappointing, it didn't feel that great in the hand, which is a shame since it has the best features and support of any WP yet. I wasn't fussed on the 820 either.

On another note I also tried the Xperia Z and Note II. I thought I'd hate the 5" screen on the Xperia but it didn't actually seem too big, unless you tried to access the notifications. On the other hand, the Note II was ridiculous. And it wasn't very smooth either, pretty glad my 2.5 year old single core WP (generally) kept up with it in that department Cool

Really wanting a new phone now! Hopefully Nokia's next flagship is more ergonomic, and hopefully I'll be able to afford it...

Pandora is annoying me with a little problem: start playing something and pause it. Turn on Bluetooth and connect to a speakerphone (car, desk) and Pandora resumes playing. Pause it. When you turn off the speakerphone (and sound is routed back to the device), Pandora resumes playing again.

A bit annoying if you keep Bluetooth on and connect to the car when coming to drive and disconnect when walking away from the vehicle.

I am missing on WP8 fun. Still do not have a WP8 device :-(

Rocking my back HTC Titan (7.8) for now. Impatiently waiting for Nokia Lumia 720 to launch in April. It's that perfect phone I want.

It'll be worth the wait I'm sure! Both the 620 and 720 look like brilliant phones for the money.. assuming the local pricing is sufficiently less than the 920... i.e. half or less. Has pricing been announced?

You can officially buy the Nokia Lumia 620 from Noel Leeming for $349. Lumia 720 has not been announced yet for NZ but clove.co.uk, unlocked-mobiles and handtec.co.uk have pre-order pages up for it for 249 pounds excl VAT + 20 pounds shipping to  NZ ~$480 before GST to customs in NZ.

I've been using a HTC Windows 8s for about a week.

It's really nice hardware, looks and feels great. I'm not convinced the OS is comparable to iOS or the latest droids.

App eco-system is very immature of course.

All up i see a lot of potential but it's a brutal marketplace and it needs to grow up fast.

I think app marketplace is pretty good actually. All the services I use have a Windows Phone 8 counterpart app, except BNZ (but their mobile site works pretty well on IE10 anyway). So not too worried about it.

What worries more is the speed of delivering updates. I would like to see more of the OS baked features updated faster (better People integration with social services, instead of me having to use a third party app for example).

Other than this I think they are a good platform, and the Huawei W1 is a great entry level device. The Nokia Lumia 920 is a beautiful hardware and fast as needed it to be.

Same here.. I've had no problem finding apps for what I need to do and am now more interested in OS updates, including items like Skype that are slowly being integrated.

I also want Nokia and MS to make all services available in NZ. It's ridiculous that Nokia Music is still not available here, whilst Xbox Music and Pandora are.

Same goes for things like Local Scout and even phone options such as the ability to auto-upload images at full size.

And the same goes again for hardware accessories... it's just dumb how Noel Leemings has a billion iPhone cases, but doesn't bring in a single official Nokia Lumia accessory, let alone any third party ones.
Pretty weak really.

That's fantastic pricing for a great device. Has same internals as Lumia 620. Just no flash on back camera, no front facing camera and no nfc but has super sensitive touch display.
