Come on guys, lets be honest "Has anyone killed a man with the 920?"

I was in the Telecom shop today as you do, just for a feel of the 920 and I had my Nexus with me. The 920 felt like a lead weight next to my Nexus which is 140g, gingos, only 40g different but boy it feels like a lot more.

Just goes to show, the brick phone isn't in fact dead, a phone made after Motorola's own heart.

Still want one though, actually like the look of it more than the 925.

cheers

Just think of all those extra arm muscles you'll grow and not even have to go to the gym!

Last night as I was walking to the car after work I pulled out my phone to use it however I couldn't. I was able to take a screen shot of it. I wasn't able to unlock my phone and the wallpaper was missing. Afterabout 30secs the wall paper came back and I was able to unlock my phone and use it. Anyone seen this issue before?

Sounds like your pocket has been trying to unlock it while you weren't looking.

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.

This may or may not apply here....
If you have trouble with the phone coming on when it's in your pocket, disable the super sensitive touch feature and also check that you haven't got apps set to launch from the lock screen .. e.g. the phone search and the camera. I also don't let the camera fire when touching the screen.. button only.

Still fussing over which colour to get..

Like the Red, but looks like the red tiles suit it only?
Like the Yellow, but looks like mostly yellow tiles suit it
Like the Black, but looks non vibrant.

You RED 920 owners out there, how about posting some screen shots of you AWESOME home screens with tiles others than red?

Recommendations?

Cheers

with the Nokia 920 cases that are available it probably doesn't matter which colour you get, the covers fit very nice and snug don't really add any additional weight/size and you can't see the underlying colour of the phone

the Nokia cases are available in all the colours - cyan, black, yellow, red, grey, white

The nice thing about the black is that it works equally well with all tile colours.
Note also that many/most third party apps don't use the theme colour, which is either good or bad depending on your preference and how you organise things.

I have a yellow 920. It looks awesome and thanks to being so bright I'm yet to loose it :D

As for the tiles, it works with just about all of the colours. The yellow tiles look pretty good. The red tiles also suit it well surprisingly. Lime green looks awesome, as do the blue tiles.

To be honest just about all of them work pretty well with the yellow body.

All 920s are LTE. Telecom NZ have chosen to disable 4G in their ROM and will enable it later this year when they roll their LTE out

if you buy an open market unlocked 920 or reflash the ROM image you'll get 4G
