Why is this software release 10.1.0.4181 but BlackBerry Blog says it should be 10.1.0.4537?

Or have I just received an intermediary release?

4181 came available a few weeks back. I've had it for a while, and yes it took a long time for me to install too. About an hour IIRC. I assume that 4537 is a new one since then and hasn't made its way to the region yet.

Edit: Or I'm confused about OS vs software version numbers as well...This is about when I got it.

zocster: Not to forget, BIS addition is no longer required, so in theory, a prepay card can drive it.

Am i dreaming!?! been waiting for this for ages
wouldnt that lower the security of Blackberries? Considering everything will now get ported to the teleco's?

There are not photos, no music, no videos. Five apps installed. One Exchange account, Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook all with two weeks storage.

I would not say this is "a lot of data".
