crackrdbycracku: One of my gripes with Windows Phone is that when you pin a folder to the Start screen you have the choice of a full size tile or a quarter size tile with no name.

But I have found that if you make the sender a contact you can make the tile size small and keep the name.

As with many people a lot of the email I get isn't from other people it is from automated services, like Geekzone, but if Geekzone is a contact in People then it is actually a better experience as you get to keep the name on a smaller tile and the options are better than a folder.

Would prefer an experience closer to Outlook.com with Categories but I guess that will have to wait.

Learning new things all the time.

yeah, the folder name on the small tile would be useful.  i have to play a game of memory each time i scroll to the bottom of my start screen!

I now have email on my phone down to three folder tiles without names, Inbox, User Accounts which is undefined emails from service providers and covers the provides which don't rate their own folder and Professional which covers work related people who email infrequently enough not to rate a contact tile.

I would still love an 'unread' category like there is on desktop Outlook.com but I guess you can't have it all.

I went through an adjustment period with this phone thinking I should have gone with a Sony Xperia SP but now I have things sorted the way I want I think this is a really quality phone and wouldn't change.

Didn't anybody tell you I was a hacker?
