Anyone with a VNZ 820 had any luck getting Cyan yet? I know the Nokia Cyan page says it's available, but I want proof first.

If you have, was that on developers preview 8.1 or just 8.0?

I'm about to give up waiting for Microsoft to fix their stuff up with the developers preview 8.1 upgrade, and use the Nokia recovery tool to go back to 8.0. I don't want to do this if Cyan and the the official 8.1 does not get installed after going back to 8.0.

Also, when is the VNZ 520 going to get Cyan?

And are the problems fixed yet? Is Cyan available for people on the Developers' track?

I was on DP 8.1 Update 1, and I used that Nokia software to update to Lumia Cyan and WP 8.1. I'm now running the DP 8.1 Update one again. No sweat :-)

P.S. Using the software requires a fresh install, but you can backup from the DP so it wasn't any problem getting back all your apps, texts, etc.

Yes, fresh install. In previous update it was just OTA. This is the thing it is supposed to be "fixed" at some point.

I have a Telecom 1020 on the developers track and I still don't have Cyan yet.

I might have to use the Nokia tools to revert to 8.0 to get it.

How did your daughter get it for her 520 when the Vodafone availability is still showing as Under Testing, and my 520 says it's already up to date with Black....

the fix for this is being tested on the different models - the first batch of handsets in the US (that are part of the dev preview program) have just had cyan rolled out to them.  I'm still waiting to get it on my 925 but it isnt far off now.

When she visited a few weeks back I checked for updates and it downloaded 8.1. I'm sure it is a Vodafone one as she has a 2 Degrees sim in it

If the 520 was bought as a 2degrees branded phone, it will be using the Australia country variant rom, which is marked as available.

I just got her to check, it has Australia for the carrier, so it must be a 2 Degrees one then

Just finished installing Cyan update for my Vodafone 520. Two updates, first one about 10 minutes, then a message to check for updates. Cyan update took about an hour to complete, and 30 minutes to update apps.

Note: standard Vodafone 520.
