The updates will come straight from MSFT no carriers will get in the way and slow down updates by waiting to "approve" them.

Quick question: What happened to the Windows Phone Connector on the App Store for Mac? It was there around a month ago then it suddenly disappeared. Are Microsoft no longer providing synchronisation software for Mac?

Nathan: I don't see the dual sim option for the Lumia 950 on the NZ Microsoft Store?

nathan: SS not DS sorry, you'll need to parallel import for DS

From Nathan's earlier post; It's single sim not dual sim in the MS Store.

Do we get a free Continuum dock like other countries? The NZ pre-order page does not indicate this is included, which makes buying it via this route extremely unappealing compared to importing.

US, Canada, UK, France and few other European countries are including the Continuum dock as bundle.

I asked this on MSNZ Facebook page, and got this response "I'm checking on this now. I'll get back to you once I find out any details"

I spoke with Windows Store customer service on the phone the other day who confirmed that the Continuum dock is included with the 950/950 XL free of charge. It does not look to be the case, however. Upon checking the NZ Windows Store site I see (emphasis mine):

[3] App availability and experience varies by device and market. Some apps and content sold separately. Microsoft account and Wi-Fi or data connection required for some features; carrier fees apply. Screen simulated; appearance will vary. Office 365 subscription required for some Office features. External display with DisplayPort, HDMI connector or compatible adapter required. See www.microsoft.com/mobile/support for compatibility information. Microsoft Display Dock, accessories and some apps and content sold separately.

If there was a dock included you would of thought it would of been mentioned on there website like in other countries.  Unless it will be a carrier special....... If any carriers sell it that is.  I Really hope one of the 3 picks it up so i can get it on contract

No dock I can live with but not dual sim? that is an epic fail. With 3 separate carriers in NZ (and yes I have 3 separate carrier service providers) having a dual sim is a most desirable feature. I will be purchasing from another country.

Wade:
nathan: you want to run Win32 apps natively on a small form factor phone?

Absolutely....

For arguments sake to get through a typical workday I need a bare minimum of Office, SAP, Chrome desktop browser with Chrome apps/extensions working, is a 950XL capable of doing this?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not hating, if anything I am probably more interested than most about continuum but I want a phone that also gives me a surface 3 or Surface Pro experience not a Surface RT experience.

You may just get your wish if the bridges to windows universal apps start to bear fruit and get Devs onboard.

If that becomes a reality, I can certainly see myself with a Lumia 950. That'd let me simplify my setup; I can replace my laptop + iPad with a Surface Book and have access to another PC when required using continuum. That's much cheaper than replacing my laptop, iPad, Phone and desktop (dev workstation).

TeamViewer have converted their application to Windows Universal app meaning it will work with Continuum as well scaling to full screen via a Lumia 950/XL. The more apps in the store convert to Universal, the better for Continuum feature to take off. Of course adding x86 apps support via a future Surface Phone running Intel processor will be a cherry on top.

A bit of a dumb question, how do you sync your music with the Windows 10 Mobile these days - the phone companion? Groove? I'd prefer not to 'drag and drop' as I'd like at least a library of sorts to keep track of what is and isn't on my phone at any one time.
