I recently downloaded and installed smsminder on my HTC Titan running standard OS. This was more a novelty thing but keen to get it working correctly. The problem I have is how the Contacts list is displayed.

When I enter a contact it is "First - Last Name", but when I go to the Contact list they are displayed as "Last - First Name". Up until now that has not been a problem, however when I use smsminder and add a contact which it extrapolates from the contact list they are displayed as "First - Last Name". Herein lies the problem. When a text is received the smsminder will read the list as "First - Last Name" and does not activate as it does not match. I have emailed the owner of smsminder and he agrees that is the problem (and I have tested this as well by just using First name only) but he has never come across this before and suggested I change the format of the contact list.

I cant re-enter the contacts again as doing so then changes the formatting of smsminder so there is always a mismatch.

Is there setting that I am overlooking on the Titan that will change how contacts are displayed?

You can use an app called Contact Changer:

However, I believe new contacts will still be filed as Last Name, First Name.
