Since Monday, my smartphone two has been syncing my appointments with a 1 hour error. For example, if I eneter an appointment in Outlook for 1pm, when it syncs with the phone, the appointment will be for 2pm. I have spoken with some friends who have SP3's and they say that they have the same problem. The common features seem to be sync with MS Exhange server and MS-Mobile. Any ideas?
Thanks

It's happening with my Windows Mobile devices too.

First check that your Smartphone and your computer (or Exchange Server) are in the same timezone (locale = NZ).

I suspect the database information with DST is off by one week. Don't do anything, and the appointment times will be correct when your desktop changes DST this weekend.

Just got an idea from a friend - set your Timezone to Tonga (GMT+13) on your Windows Mobile device until the end of the week. Then remember to change it back!

The time and dates are not a problem. Only the appointments are moved one hour ahead. This is happening because the DST records on the Windows Mobile side is one week ahead. I know some companies currently having problems with this.

Well, daylight saving has rolled around and as everyone suspected, the problem has gone away. - Jeff

Good to know... I've seen a report of the same problem - but the other way around, in Germany, where they DST will start 28 March. Appointments are now one hour ahead. Same problem really.

As I said, this was reported to Microsoft, let's see if what happens next...
