I tried out Skype on my Harrier + bluetooth headset a few days ago, and it was really choppy. Im on 1XRTT at home.

Anyone else doing this?

Im just waiting for a bluetooth USB dongle so I can just use the headset directly with my PC.

I wanted to use it with my h5150, but its only Pocket PC2002 - Skype wont work (the h5150 has Wifi, and my DSL is 1Mbit)

Comments? Experiences?

Questions, of the topic sorry ...

I guess you use skype because you make alot of international calls ?? Are you saving much on the call cost compared to the data usage cost ? ... Also, how do you install skype on your harrier ??

No problems. I use Skype to talk to family mainly in NZ.
All my data (1 x 500MB data harrier, 1 x 500MB Sierra Card, 1 x 500MB on phone, 1 x 1GB/1Mbit DSL) and all my tolls are free, so cost is not an issue. I do it becuase its fun and easy (sometimes), or maybe because its geeky (and so am I).

http://www.skype.com/products/skype/pocketpc/ - download to your PC, run, then activesync...

Needs PocketPC 2003 or higher

I would be interested to know, if anyone can tell me, what sort of data use does skype incur (for say, a 5 or 10 minute call).

Also if anyone has measured data use on webcams i would like to know
