Can you set mp3's as ring tones?
Or do you have to convert to wma files?

I don't think you can add neither mp3 or wma. I've just copied a wma, a mp3 and wav files and only the wav was recognised in the list to add ringtones.

When all else fails use Help..... "To use custom .wav, .mid, or .wma files as ring tones, use ActiveSync on your PC to copy the file to the /Windows/Rings folder on your device"

Did it work? I copied the files to this folder when I tested before the first reply and it did not work...

I have got mp3's as ringtones on my Harrier. Telecom said you couldn't do it, but they are working on mine. I copied them off my laptop via infrared and it automatically recognised them as ringtones, and I can select and use them.
