Hi,

When visiting yahoo mail was prompted that the browser (IE) is not optmised for the site and a suggestion to uprgade to version 6.0.

Went to microsoft.com site and searched but could not find any such upgrades available; can someone throw some light please?

thanks

There is no upgrade for Pocket Internet Explorer. Some websites test the browser version and throw a message when they can't recognise the browser. You have two options: tweak the identification string sent to the server so it won't complain about the browser, or use a third-party browser. You can download the free RegKing software and it will change it for you.

Hi,
Thanks. have downloaded regking, which is a zipped file?

Do I run in the laptop or use Active Sync to copy to PDA and run it there?

Also does Opera, Firefox have browsers for PDAs?

Thanks

Varunan

Unzip the file on your PC and use the unzipped program to install it. Alternative browsers include Access Netfront. Other browsers are in development.
