The following blog entry has a good video showing Windows Mobile 7 (or at least where its currently at)

The GUI seemed a little sluggish in the demo I saw. However it is good to see a completely new GUI design, I think rather than build a mobile version of Windows, they have aimed to build a Mobile OS.

Essentially porting the Windows OS into the mobile world has always been an issue as some of the design and GUI componenet simply don't translate well into the mobile world. Guess we'll have to wait until there's some devices out there commercially to see if it's ACTUALLY any good or not.

It was slightly sluggish at different parts of UI because it was demoed on a prototype. The OS itself is still not finished yet. A lot more details will be reveled next month at the MIX conference.

I love the UI. It's unique and I love the new Outlook/Exchange interface. Everything on the phone will be controlled via the Zune software which is great. I am hoping that by end of this year that Zune marketplace will finally go international.

Here are some SS of the UI.

Yep, it's kinda official. Zune video/music marketplace releasing where ever the Windows 7 phones will be released. I hope VF NZ bring in atlease 1 model of Windows 7 phone or Telecom NZ releases 1 model so the zune music marketplace is available in NZ as well.
