Does anyone know of a Windows Mobile (WM6.1) application for controlling Media Center equivalent to the Apple "Remote" application, the only shortcoming with Apple version is that it cannot adjust the volume.

Salling Clicker, or G-Remote should fit the bill.

I am fairly sure the apple iPhone app Remote can adjust the volume.

I'm not a current user, but its been great for me on previous handsets (I also used its powerpoint control functions a great deal, nothing quite like moving away from the lectern whilst controlling your powerpoint to make an impact!).

Salling Clicker is not cheap (as is the way with win mobile apps) but it does an acceptable job. as is common on generic WM6 applications, they have to code for low res screens so buttons and controls are miniscule on the Touch Diamond, but functionality is very good, so overall a success.

running it beside my wifes iPhone remote, we can now both control the music (not necessarily a good thing). A useful feature with clicker is that you can set it to pause the music and mute the system if you get an incoming call.
