Hi, I have just broght an at&t samsung blackjack off trademe and it works with my xt sim card except the internet. The telecom shop asisstant told me I made need to configure it like they do with iPhones. What does she mean? Is it the same as unblocking it? How do I do this.
Any help at all would be appreciated

You will need to enter the APN (which is "", no quotes) somewhere in the settings for it to work.

There is a topic on GZ somewhere with more detailed APN information for MMS etc.

You have to enter the APN and MMS configuration (

However, if this is like other AT&T devices the configuration is pretty locked down. I have a couple of AT&T devices here received directly from them for review. Basically their default APN is locked to AT&T MediaNet, and the MMS is pre-configured as well. Even if you add the APN, the device will probalbly revert to the AT&T default APN after a reboot.

Some of these options have to be changed in the registry. You will also need to change the registry to add a key RegOverridesSIM otherwise the voicemail button won't work on Telecom, and when you clear your voicemail box the device won't reset the on-screen indicator.

In another words, it may work, but if you don't know what to change it will get messy.
