Hi! I bought one for my husband. Initially it was slow and sluggish but I knew about this previous to making the purchase, and knew of the rom update release that would fix the problem. Once I got enough courage I updated the units rom. It has absolutely rocked since. I don't think the sound is as good as my Ipaq but the other positive points outweigh this. The camera is as good as many other camera phones on the market, it also has a built in Fm radio, and I just love it. I'm actually thinking of getting one for myself!

sorry, i forgot to introduce what is 818pro, it's a windows mobile 5.0 system as same as atom, but it's brand "dopod", it works more stable than atom, i will post link here then you guys can have a look, it's got 5 colours can be choosed, and it's cheaper than atom too. i could say it's very similar with atom, just cpu different and without audio.

actually i am not saying 818pro is better than atom, but i bought atom first then sold it and bought this 818 pro, one thing i really don't like atom is the cover very easily stick your finger-print on it, so i need to clean it all the time, otherwise it will be not good looking :P . and possum4 said it right. atom has new rom for update and it runs more smooth than previous rom. but 818pro is cheaper than atom but using faster wireless connection. my point for choosing 818pro is its wi-fi, cos wi-fi is more important then radio for me. :D
