Hi de hi...

I have two Blackberrys... one a black one... and one a silver one.

The silver ring tone is about 5x louder than the loudest setting on the black Blackberry.

This is driving two of my customers up the wall.

Does anyone know how to get the ring tone louder?

I got told a hard reset may assist as the ring tone is software based - after talking to 5 people!

Any other useful suggestions would be most welcome :-)

perhaps compare to another identical model to see if tones are same volume (could be a quirk of that model).

Also possible liquid/dirt damage to speaker outlet? Often hard to tell with speakers if they are damaged, as its often not visible (just stops working, or works sub-standardly)
