Hi
Can any one help me convert some Visual Basic software thats works in windows and now would be really handy on my Harrier
It been build by a mate in Finland for my underwater ROV project
It reads com data from a PIC micro very basic but im not in to Visual Basic
The software works well and have all the files
Thanks for any help

I was talking to someone with knowledge in this area, and he says "It would take a lot of time. You can do it easily the other way, but going to the desktop down could be hard, even worse if it's VB6.

There is a lot of desktop functionality that is not available on the Pocket PC without doing it in C/C++."

Perhaps instead of porting and you could have it rewritten using VB .Net and Visual Studio?

These guys like doing wierd and wonderful stuff. Call and tell 'em you want them to program the controls for a sub, and they will jump at it LOL

Don't do much in VB, but can read it, but my day job is developing PDA/Smartphone apps.

Thanks cool

By the way have a look at www.subznz.co.nz/jari there are 3 video files there of the ROV around the Poor Kights

It a very cool toy for boys now able to go down to 160 meters ;-)

Its my hobby amoung other things have set up a very small company to try and pay for some of the cost buy may take some time ;-(( ask my wife ;-)
