Hi, i've checked your previous discussions and tried the solutions that have been suggested;

-mail Setup
(1/4): Email Address, ""
(2/4): Name = "my name", Username = "", Password = "*******", Save Password ticked
(3/4): Account type = "POP3", Name = "Gmail"
(4/4): Incoming mail = "", outgoing mail = "", Domain = "" (blank)

but to no avail...

The settings seem to work. after a couple of freezes the PDA connects and recieves all 237/237 eMails but then says "no mail" when finished and the same when checking manually or every 15 mins.

I'm using a XDA EXEC (JasJar) on OS Windows Mobile 5.0 on the UK O2 network. Can anyone offer any suggestions? thanks.

Welcome to Geekzone... I've just created a configuration based on the same server parameters you gave and it worked fine for me. I am using the XDA Exec on this test.

Is the POP configuration on your GMAIL account set to "All Emails"?

Yes its in use. In GMail under Forwarding and POP settings;

1. Status: POP is enabled for all mail that has arrived since 09/10/05

I'm not sure if the fact that I'm UK based may be causing a problem for a .com server or possibly if a domain name is required. SSL connection is set as required and i've tried all 6 connection types offered (O2 Active, O2, My Work Network, My ISP, Wok, The Internet) just in case...
