Howdy yall, Im using the imate pocket pc phone edition and ivt corporation USB bluetooth class1 with the bluesoleil bundled software.

Ive managed to set the active sync thanks to the guide but unable to configure it for internet use using my PC ADSL internet connection becasue I dont have bluetooth connection wizard on the PDA nor do I use the xp bluetooth drivers as its using the bluesoleil drivers :(

I tried searching this forum and the net but to no avail. Any help would be appreciated.

Can I use the Internet through the ActiveSync connection via Bluetooth?
Is it possible to brigde the connections?

Welcome to Geekzone... The i-mate Pocket PC doesn't have the LAP or PAN profiles, so you can't use the connection. Your alternative, as you guessed, is to use the ActiveSync connection.

By default, when you connect to ActiveSync (on USB or over Bluetooth) your Pocket PC will automatically be connected to the Internet through your computer. Just use it!

If you can't browse anything, check that ActiveSync on your PC is configured as "Accessing the Internet" (on ActiveSync 3.8) on the same dialog where the Internet PassThrough option is enabled (check the Options dialog).
