Hey All,

I'm planning on purchasing an i-mate device - either the SP5M or a JAM (haven't made my mind up yet).

Do any of you guys (or girls ;) ) know if it is possible to use an RS232 connection? I have seen an adapter on expansys:

I don't think it's possible - first that cable is for the PDA2k (HTC Blue Angel and HTC Harrier), while all the new Windows Mobile devices use mini USB now.

You will also get a much better performance on USB synchronisation than over RS232.

Thanks, it's just i've got a unit which has a RS232 connection which i'd like to log/display data from. Is there any RS232 to USB converters which would do the trick? I suppose I would need a pocket pc driver for it?
