My K-Jam started automatically rebooting every few minutes. It has cycles of this behaviour which last for anything upto 4 of 5 hours, then everything seems to come right again until the next time. All I can think of is that the firmware upgrade I made has something to do with it. The firmware upgrade supposively addressed a problem with the external storage & as I am using a 1 Gb MiniSD card I thought it might be useful (& I was kind of hoping it would sort out a few other anomalies with setting up bluetooth, which it didn't)

The upgrade reinstalled e-trust antivirus (which I had inadvertently removed previously) & also gave me Skype which wasn't previously included on my phone. Seeing E-trust again makes me realize just how much it slows down my k-jam. I removed it again! Thinking about it, Skype may be the cause of my re-boot problem. I'll try removing it & post back.

Has anyone else experiences this re-booting problem?

Is this happening with the k-jam fresh after a hard reset, or have you installed any other software since?

Hi Mauricio,

Yes, effectively from a hard reset (firmware upgrade from i-mate download involves a hard reset & also installs E-Trust & Skype automatically)

Anyway, it looks like my problem is related to running Skype. Since removing it, the problem appears to have stopped (fingers crossed).
