Hi everyone - just joined the site.

I'm new to the technical aspects of bluetooth, been trying to research this but thought it would be better to ask the experts here.

I have an HTC Apache - I would love to find a bluetooth headset that streams music and ideally can control media player from the headset.

I presume that this is what A2DP and AVRCP profiles are for?

1) Does the HTC Apache have these profiles? If not, is it likely that a software upgrade will add this functionality.

2) I was looking at this bluetooth headset:  http://www.theunwired.net/?itemid=2871
Would this work with the Apache?

Thanks

Chris

Current software does not provide the A2DP and AVRCP functionality, and although this is available from the original developer (Microsoft) with an update, it is not clear if the O&M (HTC in this case) will make it available.

Any Bluetooth adapter (such as the one shown, or some others we have reviewed here on Geekzone) can be used because it will simply get the output from the audio jack and use its own Bluetooth hardware and software, not the native one.
