PLZZZZZZZZZZZZ HELP! I GOT A NEW ACER N50 HANDHELD AND IT CRASHED,so i took out the battery and it reset itself...i was happy...but then it crashed again so thinking it would reset i took out the battery,,,instead it has a big bright red light and it wont go away or let me turn the notebook on! ive tried everything! even overninght and past the battery's 8 hour its still there bright as ever


PLZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ HELP ME!

You might want to soft reset it, and if it doesn't work then perform a hard reset.

The soft reset is done by poking the reset hole with a clip, and the hard reset should be the same, while at the same time pressing the on/off button.

I have moved this to the Pocket PC forum, because the N50 is not a notebook, but a Pocket PC PDA.

Welcome to Geekzone, please use plain English and normal capitalisation rules (e.g. "Please" instead of "PLZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ")

Repeated cries of "HELP!" are also redundant around here - people are generally here for help - its a given.

I hope you resolve your problem. If/when you do, be sure to post the result/process on the forum to help anyone in the future who has the same problem as you.

it would be great to tell me how to do any sort of reset when the pda wont turn on!
